I received a state refund but not a federal refund. I wanted to be sure that the IRS has my banking information to ensure I'll receive this next stimulus in my account

The IRS (Federal) is seriously backlogged because of all the extra stimulus filings, and taxpayer confusion regarding the Recovery Rebate Credit.  Open your TT account, and go to the File tab to check the banking info that you submitted.

@SweetieJean  IRS approved and deposited refunds with no delays (less than 14 days for three returns so far).

@jhjohns7  If IRS doesn't have your deposit info, you will get a check in the mail.

@jhjohns7  You can check the status of your third payment by using the Get My Payment tool. The IRS will use data already in its systems to send the third stimulus payments. Taxpayers with direct deposit information on file will receive the payment that way. Those without current direct deposit information on file will receive the payment as a check or debit card in the mail.
