WAIT for your first return to be fully processed and THEN you can amend using a Form 1040X to add the other W-2. Do not confuse the IRS by putting a second return into the system while they are still processing your first return.

You should not amend until the first return has fully processed and you get the first refund or your tax due payment has cleared.

@xmasbaby0 The Forms Availability list says the 1040X is available. But they haven't updated this amend FAQ for 2021 yet. Is there a newer amend article? Can you check with them?
