You sure the IRS is saying you didn't file the tax return? Or that you didn't pay the tax due?
Your only proof of payment is your bank statement or credit card showing the payment coming out. Turbo Tax only passes your bank account number to the IRS or state for them to take it out of your account. And the IRS or state does not update Turbo Tax when or if they get your payment.
If they didn't get your actual 1040 tax return you will have to print and mail it now.
Does the notice say that the IRS did not receive your tax return --- or does it say that you did not pay your 2024 tax due? Your only proof that you paid your tax due will be your own bank or credit card records.
First check here: How to Check your E-file Status.
What else did the notice say? They will usually not contact you to say you didn't file. Make sure it is a legit notice.
You will need to contact the IRS for information. It might be easiest to set up an account with them.
IRS Individual Online Account
I have an account through id.me. It is listed in the official documents from the irs.
That my return was not received.
If you e-filed your 2024 return through TurboTax and you received notice of acceptance by IRS through TurboTax, provide that information (including the email stating your return was accepted) to the IRS using the contact information they provided in their notice.
If you haven't already, I recommend that you sign up for an Online Account for Individuals with the IRS. This account provides access to your individual account information including balance, payments, tax records and more.
