I received a letter from the IRS saying that they needed additional forms for my return. I think i did it correctly on here but wanted to make sure of a couple of things

the letter told me to send in a competed 8962 and form 1095a.  Are both of these form included in the amended protion that i did?  Also the new refund amount on the amendment is $128.  Is this amount being added to the 1096.00 that my original Income Tax shows?

Yes, Form 8962 and Form 1095-A are available for amending returns. 

Your original refund and your additional amended refund will not be combined. You should receive two separate payments. 

If you are amending in response to IRS Letter 12C:

Click on "See entire answer" then select the blue hyperlink for step by step instructions for adding Form 8962 after e-filing and receiving IRS Letter 12C for:

·       TurboTax Online or 

·       TurboTax Desktop

·       Final instructions recommend you print, mail of fax Form 8962 and Form 1095A to the IRS as specified in your letter.

You cannot e-file these forms, they must be mailed or faxed as requested.
