I received a 2016 form 1041 k-1 form a few months ago with "No Reportable Income." Do I need to file this with my 2017 tax return? May I file it seperately?

Don't add it in to your 2017 tax return.  You can't mix years. If there is no reportable income on the K-1 then you don't need to report it.  You would have to file an amended 2016 tax return, in other words, you can't file a second 2016 Form 1040. But there is no need to file an amended if the K-1 doesn't change your tax for 2016.
