  • I need to amend my state return.- you will need to amend any state returns filed missing the dependent.

My name is Daniela. I really need help to file an amended tax return for 2019. I forgot to add a dependent. I was trying to contact TurboTax Support at [phone number removed], but it is impossible to speak with a person on the phone. I usually add my father as a dependent but for 2019 I didn’t add him as a dependent. To file my 2019 tax return I was using online free TurboTax program, but when I would like to amend online, I am receiving a message "Amending a prior year return is not currently supported by IRS Free File Program delivered by TurboTax". Please, tell me how to do the amend my 2019 tax return. Thank you
