TurboTax account fees, Refund Processing Service Fee and fee for a check reissue would reduce the amount sent back from the third party processor, Santa Barbara Tax Products Group to the IRS.

i realize that i entered the wrong account number when filing my taxes, but i have NEVER been notified that you had my money even though you have my home address, work email and phone number and my cell number. I called on May 8th and spoke to someone at YOUR bank and the rude woman said she already sent my tax return back to the IRS on April 15th.  I called the IRS and up until today they did not have my money... so i would really like the phone number to a supervisor or manager to speak with regarding these bogus fees.  you really think that i wouldnt respond if i was notified of you having over $1000 of my hard earned tax dollars??  im so disgusted by the way this is being handled and i will never recommend turbo tax to anyone that i know ever again.

When you choose the option to pay the TurboTax fees out of the Federal refund that is handled by a third-party company called SBTPG (Santa Barbara Tax Products Group).   SBTPG receives your refund from the IRS at one of their 2 banks--Sunrise Banks of St. Paul, MN, or Citizens Banking Co. of Sandusky, OH.  That bank sets up a temporary account for you to receive the refund, and then takes out the TurboTax fees.  It then sends the remainder on to your bank account in a second direct deposit.  If that deposit fails, the intermediary bank will mail you a check.

You can check on the status of your refund at SBTPG by logging into their website at:

https://cisc.sbtpg.com/

Of you can get 24-hour automated info by phone at:  https://cisc.sbtpg.com/contact.aspx
