I purchased the Deluxe for 69.99 but I needed the premier plus calif. i need to print returns.

Save yourself the money ... the Deluxe can do everything the Premier can do at a lesser price. Just because the upgrade is suggested doesn't mean you must upgrade.

You can upgrade in your TurboTax Deluxe Desktop for Windows and only pay the difference in the cost of the two programs. You will not loose any of your saved information. To upgrade, open your TurboTax software:

1. Select "Help" at the top. 
2. In the drop down menu select "Upgrade", and continue with your purchase.

To add an additional state:

1. "Continue" in your return
2. Select "Online" at the top
3. In the drop down menu select "Download State", and continue with your purchase. Your initial purchase of TurboTax Deluxe for Windows come with a free state, so no purchase necessary for the first one.
