I previously have been able to print my tax returns and it's only a few pages, but now when I try it it says there are 71 pages.

After the tax year has closed you can only get a PDF with all the worksheets included which is why there are so many pages.  You can save a PDF with & without the worksheets only in the current tax year. Use the PDF reader to print the pages you need.
