I prepared my taxes incorrectly: How can I amend them?

As xmasbaby0 mentioned, you can only amend if your return was already filed.  You also have to wait until the return is processed by both, the IRS and your state.   If your return has not been filed you can still log in to your TurboTax account and make the necessary changes.   

If the return is already filed and processed you will have to wait because the IRS has not released Form 1040X, the form you need for the amended return.  Usually, the form gets released late in February.
