You can go to the following TurboTax website for the status of the e-filed tax return.  If the tax return was received and accepted, there will be date/time stamps for when it was received and for when it was accepted.  Click on the Print this page icon in the upper right corner of the screen - <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://shop.turbotax.intuit.com/efile/efile_status_lookup.jsp">https://shop.turbotax.intuit.com/efi...>

You can also click on Show Efile History in the bottom left corner.

If you already e-filed your return and did it again today by accident, it will not be accepted. You cannot e-file a return twice with the same social security number unless it was rejected the first time.
