I prepared and filed 2015 on-line. When I go to amend it says it can no longer be done on-line but I can use desktop software. I am supposed to now pay for that as well?

If you follow the amending instructions carefully, there should be a link to download a special free amend-only version of Turbotax for Windows.

Yes, the link to that amendment software will be online when the 2016 program opens up in December. Use the link you found ... I was just going to post it for you.
