When you use TurboTax, either Online or Desktop versions, to prepare your return, you can create and print a copy of the return from within the program for no additional charge. In Desktop, go to Forms Mode (click on that option from the top menu) and you can select what forms to print.
The Online version will ask you to pay for the product you used to prepare the return before you can print a copy. It doesn't charge you an additional fee to print the return and it doesn't mail you the return. See this help article for details. See here for instructions to print your return to a PDF which you can then use to print a hard copy.
Did you pay the IRS for a complete copy of the return? The IRS charges a fee of $50 per tax return for you to be sent a copy of a previously filed return, requested via Form 4506. This process can take up to 75 days. If you only need the data to file or for a loan, you can get a free "tax transcript" online immediately, which is sufficient for most needs. See this IRS webpage for details.
Who did you pay? Turbo Tax does not mail anything to you or for you. Does your account say Ready to Mail? That means you have to print it out yourself and you mail it to the IRS and state.
Or did you efile? When you efile you get back 2 emails. The first email only confirms the transmission. The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile. And check your spam folder for them.
