No, there isn't a way to claim a credit on your tax return for not receiving the California Middle Class Tax Refund, as there was with the Federal stimulus payments. The payment is not taxable on your California state return.

If you believe you are eligible to receive a payment and have not received it by February 14, 2023, call the Franchise Tax Board's Customer Support at 800-542-9332 on weekdays between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Pacific time. Click here for more information.
