What is "it" that says a check was printed?   Do you mean it says "printed" in your online account?   If that is what you are seeing, that does not mean a check was printed.  It means your tax return was printed.   If you did not e-file or snail mail your tax return then your return was not filed at all.  Where are you seeing "printed?"

How did you file?  Did you efile?  Or mail it?  When you efile you get back 2 emails. The first email only confirms the transmission. The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.


When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc. What does it say?  If it says anything other than Accepted then you probably needed to print and mail it yourself.   I
