I need to take the mortage section off my tax return, how do I do this? I accidently put it on my return.

If you entered Mortgage Interest reported to you on a Form 1098, type '1098' in the Search window, then 'Jump to 1098'.

At the Summary page, you can Edit or Delete your entry (trash can icon).
