I need to make changes to my 2022 return that I never filed, but Turbotax thinks I did file one. I cannot use software platform unless I "amend." What can I do?

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state. 

This will take you back to the 2022 online tax return where you can add, edit or remove tax data before filing your tax return.

Do NOT click the amendment option if you never filed the original return yet ... use the back door option to open the closed return.
