I need to amend my dependent status on my tax return. How do I do that? I don't see it as an option when amending.

Start the amendment process then click on MY INFO tab and edit yourself to change your answer on being a dependent.

There's 3 tabs: General Info, Wages and Income, and Deductions and Credits. I don't see dependent under any of them.

General info in that program.

You are editing yourself ... you are not in the dependent section.
