since I used TurboTax free file in 2020, it says amend option is not supported anymore. What can I do if I still need to submit an amended return?

What option do you have to access your 2020 return if you used IRS Free File? If you can access the .tax file, you should be able to get 2020 TurboTax Deluxe or Basic and import the return and then amend. 

If you used TurboTax Online Free to do your 2021 tax return, you might be able to access your 2020 return from the IRS. If not, you can always request a transcript from the IRS.
