I need to amend my 2015 taxes. I used Turobotax cd. The lab top I used to file the taxes crashed and I lost all my files and apps. Is there any way I can get them back?

You can reinstall the software, or install it on another computer, from the CD. But since you used the CD software, the only copy of your tax return data file (the .tax2015 file) is on the computer that you used, unless you made a backup on another device. TurboTax does not have a copy of it, even if you e-filed. To file an amended return, if you don't have the .tax2015 data file, you would first have to recreate your original return in TurboTax, and make sure it exactly matches the return that you filed. You can get a free transcript of your 2015 federal tax return from the IRS at the link below. Your state tax agency might be able to give you a transcript or copy of your state return.
