Using the TurboTax online editions you must pay the TurboTax account fees before the tax return can be e-filed or printed for mailing.

Sorry Turbo Tax is free to start.  You have to pay the fees to print or file.  If they let you get a copy before paying then nobody would need to pay.

Before filing,  You can preview the 1040 or print the whole return
