I mailed my tax returns on Monday the 13th of March (10 days ago, from Ireland). How will I know if or when it has been received? E-File wouldn't work for me. Thanks!

For my filing status it still just says "ready to mail".

Your status will continue to say "Ready to Mail" on TurboTax because the software program does not know that you mailed the return.  It usually takes about 4 weeks before you can see your return status on the IRS site when you mail a return.  Since you mailed it from Ireland, it might take a bit longer.

You are welcome.  For future reference, when you mail your tax return, it is helpful to use a service that will provide you with a tracking number or return receipt, so that you will know the IRS received it--being in suspense for weeks cannot be fun.

Haha you're dead right! I tried e-filing but it said my name or SSN didn't match what the IRS had down which is strange as I entered it correctly, and it matched what was down on my W2 form, so it said my only option was to mail...
