I made a payment through Turbo Tax for my Federal Return, then I found out that I had to file the return by mail with a check. How can I get that payment back?

My e-file payment has been processed. Now I have to send a check for the same amount. How can I stop the e-file payment?

How did your efile payment get processed if you have to mail your return?  If your return was not efiled or Accepted then the payment didn't go through.  Or you are confusing paying the Turbo Tax fees?  

If you already paid the tax due then don't mail a check.  But first make sure the payment already come out of your checking account or credit card.
