I made a mistake in stating someone could claim me but they can't I need my earn income credit from my dependent

To indicate that you are NOT a Dependent of someone else, please follow these steps in TurboTax Online:

• Log into your Turbo Tax Online account

• Select "Take me to my return"

• Click "My Info" located on the left side of your screen

• Click "Edit" next to your name

From here you, as you walk through the TurboTax interview process you need to answer "NO" to the question "Someone else can claim me as a Dependent" and "NO" to "and this person will claim me on their 2018 Tax Return" so that you can claim your dependent and Earned Income credit on your return.
