I'm using the CD version of TurboTax. How do I delete 1040x, so that I can save a copy of my original return?

I filed my 1040. Now, I need to amend. But, I used the CD version of TurboTax to amend without first saving a copy of my original file. So, I need to know how to use the CD version of TurboTax to delete the 1040x, so as to get back to my original return.

Click on View in the upper section,

in the drop down click on Forms

open the 1040X from the left side

then click on Forms at the top and you will see a dropdown for "Remove Form 1040X"

To be safe, I would rename the file first, so you have two files, then you will make sure you are not deleting something you may need later.
