I’m trying to track my refund, and it will not allow me, why?

It takes about 21 days before your refund will be processed by the IRS, if you feel you waited longer then you can contact the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 .  M-F form 7 a.m to 9 p.m. They can give you the status of your return.  In the meantime you can continue to check your status on the IRS website at: https://www.irs.gov/ and click on where is my refund, this is updated every 24 hours.  The other site is :  https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/wheres-my-refund/
