No one else can see your tax return so no one can tell you if it was done correctly. Did you enter ALL of your 2021 income----every W-2 from every employer you worked for in 2021? Did you double check all the amounts you entered? Did you enter all of your personal information correctly and use your correct mailing address? Did you choose how you want to receive your refund and enter the information in the FILE section?
Was there something specific you were unsure of ---did you ask questions to clear up any confusion before you e-filed?
Did you e-file? Did you click a big orange button that said “Transmit my returns now?”
When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first one will say that your return was submitted. The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected. If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.
The IRS will begin to accept e-files on January 24---watch your emails.
