I’m trying to add a dependent this year and everything I find says to go to my info but I don’t have that option

If you are accessing the 2023 TurboTax online tax return using one of the TurboTax online editions, then click on My Info on the left side of the online program screen.  You must be in the 2023 tax return for the links on the left side of the screen to be available.

Of course you have My Info.   Every version of the software has My Info.  It is the same section where you entered your own name, address, Social Security number, etc.

Make sure you have entered your child as a dependent in My Info, and that you have entered the child's Social Security number.    Careful— do not say that your child’s SSN is not valid for employment.  If your child was born in 2023 make sure you said he lived with you the whole year.  There is an oddly worded question that asks if the child paid over half their own support.  Say NO to that question.
