You need to first check to be sure that your Illinois return was successfully filed.
What do you mean by "sent"? How did you file--did you efile, or did you print and mail the return?
When you log back into your online account, at the Tax Home page what is displayed for "return status" for the state return? Does it say accepted, rejected, printed, started, or ready to mail?
If you efiled, what do you see when you check with this tool? Was your efiled state return accepted?
