There isn't anything you can do right now, if the IRS accepts your return. If, for some reason, your return is rejected then you can add your student loan interest, correct whatever caused your return to be rejected, and re-submit. If your return is rejected, you will need to file an Amended return in order to deduct your student loan interest. That said, you should not file an Amended return until you have received your refund or your payment has been processed. At that time you can use TurboTax to file an Amended return. The amend function is not yet available for 2018, but should be in early to mid-February.
