I just realized i checked the checking account box in the direct deposit when the account number i put was for a savings account, what do i do

If you've already submitted your return and it's already been accepted, there is nothing you can do. If there's an error in the transfer process, then the IRS will send you a paper check. If you have not yet submitted your return, you can change your bank information by following these instructions:

1. Sign into your account, click take me to my return
2. Click the File heading
3. Complete the information in Step 1
4. Step 2, this is where the bank account information will be. Follow the prompts to edit your bank account information.
