I just need to e-file MI state tax return. My mother-in-law has SSA so she does not need a federal return. How can I do this?

I just need to file the state taxes, however at the end it is showing federal and state.

Unfortunately it is not possible to file only your state return on TurboTax, as it is designed to pull your state information from your federal. You may file your state return directly on your state's website if you chose.

Problem with this years return. TurboTax entered the SSN benefit as 0 in the income field, were I entered the amount of benefit correctly within the app..
