I just amended my 2017 tax return. I can't find it to print it. Do i have to mail it in now?

If you filed an Amended tax return in TurboTax Online, please follow the steps below to retrieve it.

• Sign into your Online account.
• Next select Intuit Account at the bottom left of the screen.
• Then select My Account at the top left of your screen, then select My Docs.
• Under Tax Year 2017 you should see the Amended return. 
  
• Double click the Amended return PDF file, then download to open the return and print.

No, you don't have to mail it now, you can choose to mail it at a later time. Generally with Amended tax returns you must file Form 1040X within three years from the date you filed your original tax return or within two years of the date you paid the tax, whichever is later. 

Also note:

• The IRS will take 16 weeks or longer to process an amended tax return.
• Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS.
• 3 weeks after you mailed your amendment, you can start tracking its progress at the IRS Where's My Amended Return? site.
