I itemized in 2015 & I do not see where my state refund for 2015 has been added into income on my 2016 return which I am itemizing again. How do I enter this figure?

You should have a 1099-G reporting the state tax refund.

Under Income -> Other Common Income -> State and Local Tax Refunds.

Or enter 1099-G in the search topics box.
