I haven't received my state tax refund, why is that

I received my federal refund and when I paid for the the service I used my card and not my refund to pay.

Each State have different schedules as to when they issue refunds.  Sometimes you do get your Federal refund first.  You can check the status of your State refund on their website.  See the following, click on your State to go to their website to look up refund status.
