The IRS has all of the information on what you've earned since 2017.  If you file as $1, I expect they will have a lot of questions.  If your going to file, do it the right way and get a transcript of what the IRS has.  Then do your returns.

How do I file taxes with transcript if it doesn’t give me a full ein or name of employer or anything??

You will need to file a tax return to get your stimulus payment. If you don't have enough information to complete the questions in TurboTax with regards to federal ID numbers and addresses, you can still enter the dollar amounts and print your return, sign it and mail it in. There will be instructions on where to mail your return with the forms that you print out.

When you prepare your tax return for 2020 in TurboTax, you will be prompted to enter how much you received for your stimulus and then the program will calculate the amount of stimulus due you based on your income, number of dependents and payments already received. If any additional stimulus is due you, it will be used to reduce your 2020 income tax liability, and the balance will be refunded to you.

You will see the options when you are done entering your tax information and proceed to the review process.

You can file a tax return in 2020 to get your stimulus check, even if you aren't required to otherwise.
