No, you can not deduct the license fee for your alarm system. 

For a fee, to be deductible it must be based on the value of your personal property rather than being a flat rate.

For example, if a city charges a $50 fee for every alarm system regardless of how much it's worth, you can't deduct that as a personal property tax.

No, you can not deduct the license fee for your alarm system. 

For a fee, to be deductible it must be based on the value of your personal property rather than being a flat rate.
