I have registered and payed for turbo, but want to clear it and use a private CPA. Can I get refunded? And once I've registered the return, am I obligated to file it?

Since you already registered your return you cannot use the option to Clear and Start over option.  If you have already filed your return and it has been accepted, you cannot go somewhere else to prepare another return.

If you have not filed your return, you can go somewhere else.
