I have received federal tax refund for 2016 in May, 2017. Must it be listed as income for 2017. I can't see any option to file it.

No, a federal tax refund is not considered income and does not need to be listed.

You only enter state refunds received in 2017.  You will get a 1099G from the state.

No, a federal tax refund is not considered income and does not need to be listed.
