I have not yet received my 2020 federal refund and no the "where's my refund" doesn't allow checking any returns from prior years.

Is there anything I can do on this year's return to account for this? Calling IRS regarding the 2020 return not viable as wait times are extremely long.

The IRS still has 6 millions returns from last year to process.  They are very behind.  Lots of people are still waiting.

Did you efile?  Was it Accepted?

When you efile you get back 2 emails.  The first email only confirms the transmission.  The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.

When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc.  What does it say?

It was e-filed and accepted in April of 2021. Status is in my account is Accepted.
