I have called the office there was a discrepancy that has been resolved but i filed in January and it has been cricket's ever since. ñ

Sorry you can't change your Direct Deposit info. If the bank rejects the deposit the IRS will mail a check to the address on your return. It is taking the IRS a lot longer this year. Only the IRS can tell you about your refund.

The IRS does not allow you to change your banking information after you file your tax return. If your refund goes to a wrong or closed account it will be sent back to the IRS and then the IRS will issue and mail a paper check to the address on your tax return. If that address is also wrong, you need to file a change of address with the IRS.

You should also file a Change of Address with the Postal Service, so if a check gets mailed to your old address they will forward it.
