About how long has it been since you filed? Did you efile, or did you print, sign, and mail the return?
If you efiled, double-check with this tool to be sure the return was efiled successfully and accepted:
https://shop.turbotax.intuit.com/efile/efile_status_lookup.jsp
If that showed it was accepted (or if you mailed the return), what do you see at the IRS website below for the status of your Federal refund?
https://www.irs.gov/Refunds
If that IRS tool shows that the refund has been sent, report back for more info.
If the IRS tool says it is still "being processed", and if it's been longer than 21 days, we can tell you how to speak to a live agent at the IRS to see if they can tell you anything about the delay.

The State of Montana never received my State income tax. I need to speak with a Rep. from Turbo Tax to clear up this mistake. Turbo Tax charged me to file me State Income Tax - why did Turbo Tax not follow through????
They didn't get your state return or a state tax due payment?
Maybe you didn't finish filing it or it Rejected. When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc. what does it say?
Then when you efile you get back 2 emails. The first email only confirms the transmission. The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepte.d or Rejected your efile. Check back though your emails if you have them.
Or if you mailed your returns you had to mail federal and state in separate envelopes to different places. Maybe the state got mailed with your federal return.
If the state didn't get it you will have to print and mail it now.
For a state tax due, you never noticed it didn't come out of your bank account? Turbo Tax doesn't pay it.
Your only proof of payment is your bank statement or credit card showing the payment coming out. Turbo Tax only passes your bank account number to the state for the state to take it out of your account. But most states do not let you pay by Direct Debit so you have to mail in a check or go directly to the state's website to pay. And some banks use different routing numbers for deposits and payments. Double check the number you entered with your bank.
Check the printout or PDF of your return; look for the state cover sheet with the Turbotax logo. If you owed tax, it will show the payment information and how/when you decided to pay. Read the state payment instructions carefully since most states cannot be paid from within the TT system and requires additional steps.

Paying the TurboTax account fees does not e-file a tax return. There are no e-file fees for either a federal or state income tax return when using the TurboTax online editions.
Did you e-file your state tax return and was it accepted?
You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large Orange button labeled "Transmit my returns now".
After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.
To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product.
If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund
What is the status of the state tax return?
I never received a refund from 2021 taxes......now I have until 17th to deal with it. What do I do
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:
https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

OR——if you filed by mail, expect a long wait. It is taking the very backlogged IRS six to nine months to process mailed returns. Until a human opens your envelope and enters the data into the system, nothing will even show up on the refund site, so you will have to be very patient.
Did you e-file? Did you click a big orange button that said “Transmit my returns now?”
When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first one will say that your return was submitted. The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected. If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.

If the IRS accepted it, what does it say here?
Or does your account say “Ready to Mail?”
Note: If it says “Ready to Mail” or “Printed” that means YOU have to mail it yourself. TurboTax does not mail your tax return for you.
It was sent to my knowledge....I got a screen that said it was received by IRS....
@57Perry57 If you know that the IRS has your return then you simply have to wait for the IRS to process your return. You cannot speed them up, nor do you need to send in another return.
It the 2021 return...I received 2022
Do you mean it is for your 2020 return, not 2021? You filed your 2020 return in 2021. This year (in 2022) we are filing our 2021 returns. Sounds like you got that one. It goes by the tax year that ended on Dec 31.
Sounds like you are confused about the tax years. In 2021 people filed 2020 returns. Are you asking about the refund for your 2020 tax return?
TurboTax does not get any information at all from the IRS after you file your tax return. No one at TurboTax knows what the IRS is doing with your return.
There have been a lot of delays for 2020 federal refunds. Did you mail your return or e-file?
If you mailed it:
MAILED RETURNS
If you mail a tax return (or a payment) to the IRS, it is a good idea to use a mailing service that will track it like UPS or certified mail so you will know it was received.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.
TurboTax will not know anything about your mailed return, and will continue to show “Ready to Mail” on your account. TurboTax will not know that you put your tax return in an envelope and took it to a mailbox. TurboTax does not get updates on mailed (or e-filed) returns.
The IRS refund site recently changed and is now showing information for 2020 returns as well as information for 2021 returns so you can check the IRS site.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2020 or 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
Or......

The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected. If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.
Does your TT account say that your return was accepted? Or does it say something else—like “rejected”, “printed” or “ready to mail?” If it does not say accepted then it was not filed unless you put it in an envelope yourself and mailed it.
TurboTax does not mail your tax return for you.
If your e-file was accepted:

I am talking about my 2020 taxes I filed in 2021......but the problem here is I didn't receive refund for 2020 taxes I filed for in 2021.....so in having said that....I did get a message stating that the IRS received my return.
