I have my wages garnished for a student loan but haven't received a w-2 for it yet. does this mean that I cant claim it on my taxes? i received one last year and didn't pay nearly as much. i'm wondering why i haven't received one yet this year.

All W-2s were required to be handed to employees or placed in the mail by January 31, 2017.
