I have logged into TT, why are my 2020 tax return figures populating?

For example, my 2020 income stats are not showing alongside my 2021 as I am doing my return. Why?

Is it possible that you started your 2020 tax return last year, but didn't finish?  Clear and Start Over to ensure you're starting fresh.  You can find the instructions in the following Help Article:  How do I clear and start over in TurboTax Online?

I think you are asking why 2020 ISN'T populating.  Be sure you are logging into TT 2021 with the same exact user ID and password as you did for 2020.

Have you actually entered some income $$ yet?

I've noticed that teh "Online" software  doesn't show last year's values, until you actually enter some form's $$.

For instance, Nothing shows down in the main 1099-INT menu area, but once you put a 2021 1099-INT in the system, those $$$ move to the top of the page (YOUR INCOME) , and the 2020 values show up  (As long as you are in the same account as last year). The lower page menu area remains blank of any $$ values

This differs from the "Desktop" software, where $$ amounts show in a 2020 column for every menu line, even if a $0.
