Did you enter the interest income from the Bond in box 3 of the Form 1099-INT or in box 1? It should have been entered in box 3 so it would not be taxable on a state tax return.
They are showing up in box 3 on the wages and income section.
Just did a test return - The interest entered on two forms was correct on the Georgia return.
If you do not see the correct adjustment on Form 500, try deleting and re-entering the Form 1099-INT manually.
I entered two Form 1099-INTs with interest reported in box 3 of $5000 on the first 1099-INT and in box 3 of $500 on the second 1099-INT.
The total of $5,500 was reported on the Georgia Form 1 Line 10 Interest on United States Obligations.
The total of $5,500 was reported on the Georgia Form 1 Line 13 Net Subtractions
The total of -$5,500 was reported on the Georgia Form 10 Line 14 Net Adjustments. Flows to Line 9 Page 2 Form 500.
