I have finalized my returns and are ready to file them by mail. When I select "Download/print return" it only brings up the federal return. Where is the state return?

Also, I thought Florida didn't have state taxes. So I am confused why I was prompted to complete that. It cost an extra 35 dollars - was it necessary??

You do not need to file a Florida state tax return since Florida does not have an individual income tax. The Florida return is only for owners of Florida-located businesses and rental property with assets to report.

Choose Skip State in the State Taxes section. 

If you proceeded past the warning screens, try deleting the Florida return --> https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1900608

If you are unable to delete the Florida return, you can simply ignore it (do not print and mail the return).
