I have completed but not mailed in my Hawaii State Tax form, can I edit it?

I moved to Hawaii during 2016.  Hawaii requires first time tax filers to mail in their state tax form.  I indicated that I am a first time filer, however, now I realize that I filed in Hawaii ten years ago.

Yes, you can edit the state return using the following instructions:

  • Sign in to your TurboTax Online account.
  • From the "Welcome home" box on the left, Click on "Visit My Tax Timeline" below the "Download/print" return button.
  • Under SOME THINGS YOU CAN DO click on Add a state. (You are not adding a state to your return.  By choosing this option it will allow us to open up your return.)

  • You should now see "State Taxes" on the Tax Timeline, select this and then click "Edit" next to Hawaii to review and edit your questions.
