I have a little bit of interest income from a credit union in another state. Do I have to file a return with that state, or can I just include it on my federal?

Just include it on the Federal return. Each state that you have income from as a non-resident will have a filing requirement based on your filing status. Unless you earned a lot of interest, you won't have to file.

Just include it on your federal return if you have no other income in that state.
