I have a letter from the IRS stating I owe taxes from a return in 2015-I did not receive a letter stating I have an offset. I filed, will they take my refund?

Yes, they will keep the portion of your refund up to the amount you owe and then send you the rest.

They said to call the Treasury number and I did and there are no pending offsets...What does this mean
