I had to re-due a ssn on my federal taxes, and i thought i had the right one but then after i completed it again it was the wrong one.

If you resubmitted your return again with the wrong social security number, it will be rejected again. This may not happen until after Jan. 23 when the IRS officially begins accepting tax returns.

i did it yesterday and got a notification to day about it being rejected. so now i will have to wait until Jan. 23 to be able to change it again to the correct one.
